Environmental Sustainability: Fourth-year student

“One of the primary reasons I chose Lakehead-Georgian was the integrated program, which allows me to get both a diploma and a degree in just four years. I have always been deeply passionate about the environment and this program’s diverse and extensive courses greatly appealed to me. Personally, I have been fortunate to spend almost every day this summer in the labs, thanks to my work-study position as a research assistant. Spending time in the labs has been an absolute joy for me. I’ve been able to engage in hands-on research and gain valuable practical experience, complementing the theoretical knowledge gained in class. The labs have truly become a second home where I can delve deeper into my passion for environmental sustainability and make a real difference in the field.”
